This blog has been sorely neglected, but I promise I have a pretty insane excuse: 2014 has been a truly incredible year for travel. Somehow, so far, just over halfway through, I have logged over 40,000 miles up in the air, touching down in eight countries.
I started out the year with my typical trips to Los Angeles and San Francisco for some photo shoots and video work, and then picked up New Zealand and Australia during a couple commercial shoots. Later, David and I took a trip with his family down to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. A day after getting back from those tropical climes, I was off to chilly Toronto to see the Knife in concert with some Instagram friends. In June I went back to San Francisco and Los Angeles again for work. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, David and I returned from a two week choral tour across Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic!
Now that the dust has settled and bags are (mostly) unpacked (for now), I’ll be returning to my regularly scheduled programming: this endless project of a house. We’ve made some pretty great progress, and I can’t wait to share some pics: New paint! Renovations! Yard carnage!
